Iceland – Whales of Iceland one-of-a-kind venue

Whales of Iceland exhibit consists of 23 man-made life size models of the various whale species found in Icelandic waters throughout its natural history. A 25 m. (82 ft.) long blue whale, a full-size sperm whale, the critically endangered North Atlantic right whale and many more! See them all in their actual size!

Much work was done on the models and all models are hand-painted and personal characteristic can be found on each model that assembles a real whale in the ocean. The models are also soft, squishy and fun to touch.

The largest exhibition of its kind in Europe just got even more immersive. The Whales of Iceland exhibition – also renowned as a one-of-a-kind venue for various events, Iceland Airwaves music festival, receptions, world bartender championship 2016, product demonstrations, meetings, anniversaries, Gala dinners, film festivals and more.

Every detail contributes to a sense of wonder and authenticity: The beach-like floors, the atmospheric lighting, and soundscapes, not to mention the look and feel of the suspended whale models, life-sized and incredibly life-like to the touch. A visit to Whales of Iceland takes you out of this world – and into the extraordinary one down below: There are impressive interactive displays, a VR adventure and an audio guide in English, German and Icelandic.

As for private events, this versatile venue accommodates up to 700 standing guests and up to 300 seated. The Whales of Iceland exhibition makes any event exceptional and unique.
