MITM Americas & CULTOURFAIR, B2B pioneer trade shows, reaffirm themselves one more time as the most influential in America and the Caribbean

On behalf of GSAR Marketing – MITM Events, we would like to share the cotinued success of MITM Americas & CULTOURFAIR yet another year. Those lucky enough to participate were able to ascertain the professionality and dedication of our team, as well as the quality of our participants, which one more year have rated the event as EXCELLENT. We would also like to share this news with those that didnt have the opportunity to participate in this edition with the hope that we will be able to count with them next time.

This Thursday 16th of November, the XXI MITM Américas, Meetings and Incentive Travel Market and the VII CULTOURFAIR,  Internacional cultural trade show, concluded with resounding success, in the city of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

In the frame of both events and in instance of Charo Trabado,  CEO of  GSAR Marketing and legal representative of the “la carta de Juan de la Cosa” in Iberoamerica, of which two replicas where bestowed upon Mr. Francisco Javier García, Minister of Tourism of Dominican Republic, for his notable contribution in the amalgamation of Iberoamerican countries in the tourism sector and to Mr David Collado, Mayor of the city of Santo Domingo, the first city represented in said map. The ceremony was held by Don Juan Antonio Lago Novas, Marquis of Castell-Florite and president of the ”Asociación de la Carta de Juan de la Cosa”

Never before had Dominican Republic hosted an international event of these characteristics. Without a doubt, Santo Domingo hosting both events will be the seed that will make MICE and Cultural tourism flourish for first time in this country.

The events where hosted in the emblematic “Hotel Embajador, A Royal Hideaway”; that maintaining both its essence and personality that characterizes it has renovated all its rooms and conference rooms entirely both in comfort and technology, reaffirming its known charisma, service and high level gastronomy.

Other that the hotel hosting the event, the participants could experiment the vast hotel pool Santo Domingo has to offer for MICE tourism thanks to all the event´s official hotels:  Hotel Catalonia Santo Domingo, Hotel Intercontinental Real Santo Domingo, Hotel Crowne Plaza Santo Domingo, Sheraton Santo Domingo Hotel & Dominican Fiesta Hotel & Casino, Barceló santo Domingo and Hodelpa..


The response to the invitation in Santo Domingo has been a resounding success. Staying true to our creed of “quality oriented trade shows” we have gathered a select group of more than 200 participants from 21 countries: Aruba, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Curacao, Dominican Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Poland, Romania, Russia, Spain, Switzerland and USA.

During the trade show 4.325 business appointments will be done, generating an estimated mid to long term business of more than USD$226,908,973.
